Rebecca Orchard's fiction appears or is forthcoming in Tammy, the Moth (UK), The Pinch, Pigeon Pages (where her story was a winner of their inaugural prose prize), the Baltimore Review, the Quotable, and the Cobalt Review. She has also been featured in interviews in the Guardian, BBC World Service, and Atlas Obscura for her research on Voyager's Golden Record.
Rebecca has a Bachelor of Music (French horn performance) from the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, an MFA in Fiction from Bowling Green State University, and will begin her PhD studies at Florida State University in the fall of 2018. She was also a professional baker for 7 years.
When not reading or writing, Rebecca is cross stitching, baking pies, and posting pictures of both to Instagram.
